Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur Beverly Afaglo Baah has been laid to rest following an emotional funeral ceremony attended by family, friends, colleagues and well-wishers.
The 42-year-old actress, who passed away on May 24 after a two-year battle with cancer, was mourned by several prominent figures from Ghana’s entertainment industry during her final farewell on Saturday, August 8, 2026.
Among those who attended the ceremony were actresses Yvonne Nelson and Jackie Appiah, as well as actor and politician John Dumelo, who joined other mourners in paying their respects to the late actress.
One of the most emotional moments of the ceremony came when musician Choirmaster performed a customary breaking of marriage vows. He appeared visibly overcome with emotion as he grappled with the loss.
