Hohoe Under Tension as Unknown Gunmen Raid Amewu’s House

Residents of Hohoe are in shock after unknown gunmen stormed the residence of Peter Amewu, former Minister for Railway Development and Member of Parliament for Hohoe. The armed attack, which occurred in the late hours of the night, has raised serious security concerns in the area.

Eyewitnesses reported that the gunmen, whose identities remain unknown, forcefully entered Amewu’s house and allegedly fired gunshots before fleeing. Security personnel were immediately deployed to the scene, and an official police investigation is underway to uncover the motive behind the attack on the MP’s residence.
