‘Show up and give your best’ – Oti Adjei rallies Black Stars ahead of England clash

Michael Oti Adjei, General Manager for Sports at Media General, has urged the Black Stars to focus on delivering their best performance against England, insisting that the outcome of the match will not determine Ghana’s fate in the ongoing 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Speaking in an interview with Bernard Avle on The Point of View on Channel One TV on Monday, June 22, Oti Adjei encouraged the players to give their all against England and avoid treating the encounter as a make-or-break fixture.
“Tomorrow, show up against England, put in your best. The game against England will not define Ghana’s future in this tournament. It’s important,” he said.
He said Ghana still has a strong chance of progressing to the next stage even if the team fails to secure a positive result against England.
Ghana will face England on Tuesday, June 23, before taking on Croatia in their final Group L match as they seek qualification to the next round of the tournament.
