I’ve never said Mahama is an alcoholic – Duffour

Former Finance Minister, Dr Kwabena Duffour, has denied claims in a supposed letter that suggested he described John Dramani Mahama as a man with alcohol addiction problems who can’t lead the NDC in these crucial times.

In a statement shared via social media, Dr Kwabena Duffour indicated that the letter is a creation of opponents of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

“This fabricated document is part of a deliberate campaign of misinformation and propaganda by certain opposition elements who seek to undermine the truth and mislead the public. I strongly condemn these actions, which are aimed at creating confusion and sowing discord,” he said.

Dr Duffour urged the media to scrutinize every piece of information before putting out falsehoods.
