Keta Central Residents Protest Relocation of 24-Hour Economy Market, UHAS Pharmacy Projects

Residents of the Keta Central Electoral Area have expressed dissatisfaction with the Keta Municipal Assembly over the relocation of the 24-Hour Economy Market and the UHAS School Pharmacy Project to other communities.

The residents say the Assembly failed to consult them prior to the decision. They also dismissed claims that insufficient land was available within the electoral area for the projects.

“Claims of insufficient land within our jurisdiction are entirely unfounded and should be disregarded,” the residents stated.

The residents are calling on the Assembly to engage them on the matter and reconsider the relocation.
