The Ghana Ministry of Health has announced the commencement of a nationwide recruitment of health professionals, set to begin on 16th April 2026, after receiving financial clearance.
The recruitment will be decentralised, taking place at the district level based on verified vacancies.
The recruitment process will be competitive and transparent, guided by an approved quota system that covers all cadres and year groups.
All hiring will be done within approved budgetary limits.
Qualified health professionals are urged to watch official Ministry of Health and district health administration channels for vacancy announcements and application guidelines.
Applicants should have all required documents and credentials ready before the recruitment rollout.
The financial clearance is valid until 31st December 2026, and all recruitment activities must be completed by then.
