The 2022 class of YouTube’s Foundry has chosen Ghanaian musician Black Sherif.
The initiative is YouTube Music’s global program for artist development that supports the independent music industry and gives musicians access to tools and resources to help them succeed on YouTube and forge successful careers on their own terms.
It first debuted in 2015.
The Ghanaian artist’s hot discography includes “Kwaku The Traveller,” which was released most recently, as well as “1st and 2nd Sermon.”
He has been the featured artist on numerous playlists throughout the range of digital streaming platforms, both domestically and abroad.
Top performers like Burna Boy, Tory Lanez, and Darkoo are among the artists that Blacko, as he is affectionately known, has worked with.
