Gyakie has acknowledged Nigeria’s influence on her music career.
In a recent Joy Prime interview, the young Ghanaian singer, who goes by the stage name Jackline Acheampong, admitted that her decision to market her music in Nigeria and other countries aided her greatly.
“Yes, going to Nigeria was extremely beneficial to my work. But it wasn’t just Nigeria; I also traveled to other African countries and promoted my music in the United Kingdom and other European countries,” she explained.
Apart from her tour in Nigeria, Gyakie featured Nigerian Omah Lay on the remix of her song “Forever.”
She’s currently promoting her new single, ‘Something,’ which was released just a few days ago.
