Moyo Lawal, a well-known Nollywood actress, has finally spoken up after her leaked affair tape went viral on social media.
According to Tribune Online, the actress became a hot subject after a social media video of her making out with an unidentified male went viral.
Since the video clip made its way onto the internet, internet users have continued to respond to it in various ways. While some criticized the actress for the video, claiming that she deliberately leaked it for notoriety, others questioned why she allowed a man to videotape her while they were having an intimate relationship.
However, the actress responded to the video on her own Instagram page.
She emphasized that the footage was posted without her permission and dispelled allegations that she had intentionally shared it herself.
She did, however, make a legal threat against whoever was in charge of spreading the film.
“A private video of mine from a while back has been inappropriately shared without my consent, violating my privacy and trust,” the woman’s statement states.
I want to make it clear that this film, which my ex and I made while we were ready to get married, was never meant for public consumption. Any illegal dissemination of it is an invasion of my personal space.
However, legal action will undoubtedly be taken in response to this unlawful invasion of privacy.
“It really hits me funny because I have always maintained a strict approach to my PRIVACY, even going as far as being celibate for a few years, refusing to date often, and choosing to be alone most times. However, I am determined to not let this unfortunate incident break my spirit.
“I appreciate the support and understanding of those who have reached out to me during this challenging time. Please know that your kindness and goodwill mean the world to me.”
