    Lady Ophelia releases new album titled ‘M’aseda Nnwom’

    Ghanaian gospel musician Lady Ophelia has officially launched a new album after four years of coming out with her maiden body of work.

    The Ghana Music Award UK new artiste nominee and worship leader Lady Ophelia over the weekend launched her second album in a grand style in Accra with support from fellow gospel musicians Rose Adjei and Kobby Mantey and a host of others.

    Dubbed ‘M’aseda Nnwom’, the album was recorded at Sha Studios in Accra, and all seven tracks feature no other artistes.

    Speaking about the album after the launch, Lady Ophelia said: “It is always important to be grateful to God and this album speaks about my gratitude to God. I trust music lovers out there also have reasons to be grateful to God and this is why they will love every song on this album.”

    She went further to say ‘M’aseda Nnwom’ is meant to whip up the desire of praise and thanksgiving in the hearts of God’s people.

    “We know that the world is in difficult moments but in all the Lord has kept his covenant with his children and I pray that this experience awakens something in our hearts to be grateful” she said.

    The launch took please at the Church of Pentecost PIWC auditorium behind the West Hills Mall in Accra.

    [New Music] Lady Ophelia releases Nkunimdi

    Gospel Music Minister Lady Ophelia releases new song, “Nkunimdi (Victory),” ahead of her forthcoming album due in August.

    The beautiful inspiring track produced by music maestro, Sha, is filled with lots of faith reality proclamations.

    Lady Ophelia is already an acclaimed artist in Ghana’s gospel scene, her name became known to the general public after her song “Ayeyie Awie”  in 2018 as well as “M’aseda nnwom” which is the artist‘s first released project with a record company Media Excel Productions.

    Lady is a songwriter and praise/worship leader from Abetifi in the Eastern region of Ghana. Her first single “M’aseda nnwom” released earlier this year has received a great response among listeners, as well as was nominated for the New Artist of the Year at this year’s Ghana Music Award UK.

    Lady Ophelia thrills audience at GMAUK22 launch

    Lady Ophelia still relishes the thrill of performing live and audience at the 6th edition of Ghana Music Awards UK enjoyed this experience over the weekend at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra.

    The launch of GMAUK22 had many music fans and industry players racing to claim their seats as the worship leader gave them a performing experience ahead of her coming new song “Nkunimdi” which was announced via her social media page last week.

    The ‘M’aseda nnwom’ singer is always keen to perform her fans’ favorite songs on stage.
    She said: “The crowed let me know which is their favorite from my released songs. I try to connect with them. Whatever gospel music fans want, that’s what they get from me.”

    While many other musicians like Kobi Rana, KK Fosu, Kwabena Kwabena, Jayana, Joyce Blessing performed at the show, some music lovers and key industry players described her performance as a spectacular one.

    One said to her after her performance “You did great. That was brilliant,” he said.Abeiku Santana, host of Okay FM’s drive time show added: “You’re good. That was spectacular performance.. I enjoyed it.”

    Lady Ophelia Bags An Award At The 2022 Ghana Music Awards UK

    In a significant achievement, Ghanaian based gospel singer Ophelia Dedaa, also known by her stage name Lady Ophelia, has bagged a Ghana Music Award UK nomination in the category ‘New Artist of The Year’ on Friday.

    The singer bagged the prestigious award nominations for her music  ‘M’aseda nnwom’, in which she sings about her gratitude and the glory of God.

    While sharing the update on her Instagram handle she wrote, “I have no words to describe today’s feelings. How exciting it is to have your works recognized by such a credible scheme such as the GMAUK. I am humbled and thanks to the organizers and my team at Media Excel Productions for this tremendous recognition. Thank God and to you as well”.

    Cheers! Congratulations are in order as the “Ayeyie awie” singer gets her first nomination as a mainstream artist – but, that’s not the only good news. She is blessing music fans with another offering “Nkunimdi (Victory)” from her second studio recording album which drops in August this year.
