Stop listening to Sarkodie’s song – Counselor tells Yvonne Nelson
Famous marriage counselor Frank Edem Adofoli is pleading with actress Yvonne Nelson to quit listening to Sarkodie’s “Try Me” because it will not help in the healing she wants.
He emphasized that “Try Me,” Sarkodie’s answer to allegations that Yvonne had an abortion in 2010 for him, was extremely harsh and would not aid in Yvonne’s need for mental stability.
The therapeutic process the actress aspires to achieve for authoring the book “I am Not Yvonne Nelson” will be unsuccessful, according to counselor Adofoli, if she keeps listening to the rapper’s counter-song.
In a recent Facebook post, he stated:
“For your own peace of mind, stop listening to the song of your ‘former friend’. Don’t try him for you have nothing to prove. He mistook your pain for an attack on his image and integrity. He sang out of anger so don’t take the words of the song to heart. That is why you have to stop listening to it.”
He commended her for taking the courageous step of being completely honest in her memoir, highlighting the fact that the bulk of her coworkers would choose to hide behind cheery grins on social media and pretend while they suffered in silence.
