Prophecies that target celebrities are clout chasing – Nana Aba Anamoah

Renowned media personality Nana Aba Anamoah has criticised religious figures who use prophecies involving celebrities to gain public attention.

She described such actions as “clout chasing on a pulpit.”

In a post on her X account, Nana Aba condemned what she described as the weaponisation of religion for relevance, particularly when it involves spreading fear and doom about public figures.

“If your prophecy needs a celebrity name to trend, it is clout chasing on a pulpit,” she said.

She questioned the authenticity of such prophecies, insisting that God does not reveal divine messages to individuals who exploit the pulpit for personal gain.

“Any ‘Prophet’ who feeds on doom, fear, and public figures is not speaking for God,” she shared.

She continued, “God does not whisper revelations to people who weaponise the pulpit for relevance.”

Nana Aba further expressed concern about the mental and emotional state of such individuals, urging them to seek help.

“Seek help. You’re not well,” she added.
