Rapper and Hiplife artiste, Okyeame Kwame through his lawyers has given Gyedu Blau-Ambolley a 72 hour ultimatum to retract a defamatory comment he made and apologize.

Gyedu Blay in a recent interview on 3FM which was shared with TV3 Instagram account alleged that the former president of Musician Union of Ghana (Musiga) Bice Osei Kufuor, popularly known as Obour shared the union’s GHC 2M funds among his pal musicians and that he had evidence to back the said activity.

Gyedu Blay mentioned Okyeame Kwame as one of the beneficiaries.

According to the letter from Okyeame Kwame’s lawyers was shared to his official Instagram page, the allegation is a dent on his image and if Gyedu Blay does not withdraw the statement using the same medium he made the allegations on, the case will be addressed in court.

I will like to tell my business partners, stakeholders and my fans that Gyedu-Blay Ambolley has perpetrated untrue fabricated lies about my character and reputation. However, my lawyers are handling it. Thank you all for the support.

It is my honest prayer that Gyedu Blay Ambolley, will do the needful which includes but not limited to due diligence, retraction and apology before the 72-hour duration given him.
I hope this scripture will not be true in his case (Proverbs 16:18)😊. Hopefully, this will not be a case study for testing the law of the land.
