KiDi bemoans the fact that a lot of artistes are unable to make it to the limelight because they are not attached to any record label.
Lynx Entertainment signee KiDi has urged up and coming artistes to always have a management team or get signed on to a record label that would see to their growth in the industry.
“I always say that it’s a very important part of the business to be part of a label,” the Thunder hitmaker told Asaase Showbiz.
“So many artistes are talented… having a huge machinery behind you is a very important part of the business.”
KiDi bemoaned the fact that a lot of artistes are unable to make it to the limelight because they are not attached to any record label.
In conversation with Andy Sepah, he charged budding acts to also invest more in branding themselves.
“Branding is very important. It is what will set you apart from other talented artistes, apart from your talent what else are you working with, do brands want to work with you? The music is always number 1, then branding comes, then everything else follows,” KiDi said.
