It’s great if we’re resetting Ghana to the days of fervent prayer and hard work – Koku Anyidoho
Former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Koku Anyidoho has announced his support for John Dramani Mahama’s reversal to prayer and hard work.
President-elect John Dramani Mahama, after winning the 2024 election, has indicated that people who are not selfless and do not think of the country should stay away from his government.
He has also urged the people of Ghana to pray fervently, as the task ahead is not one for the faint-hearted.
The president-elect announced during his campaign that he will be instituting a National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving every year.
Commenting on the position expressed by John Dramani Mahama, Koku Anyidoho indicated that it’s a great move as same was done by the late President, John Evans Atta Mills.
“I saw President Mills work hard & also depend on his belief in God through fervent prayers. He personally prayed before/after every Cabinet meeting. I personally believe in prayers. If we are resetting to the days of fervent prayer and hard work, great 👍. Ghana 🇬🇭 First🙏❤️,” he said in a tweet.
