The President, Nana Akufo-Addo has disclosed in an interview on Metro TV that he stopped taking alcohol in 1994.
This means he was 50 years when he decided not to say goodbye to ‘the bottles’.
He said this when the host, Paul Adom Otchere asked how he’s been able to keep healthy till now.
Nana Addo told Paul apart from God, he also ditched a lot of unhealthy lifestyles like drinking alcohol and rather ate good food like kontomire.
“It stopped drinking in 1994. That is 26 years ago,” he said.
He said even while he was a Minister he had stopped taking alcohol.
