Kumawood actor, Wayoosi is asking for forgiveness for abusing his position as a movie maker and sexually taking advantage of aspiring actresses.
Wayoosi in a chit-chat on the ‘Hammer Time, made the shocking revelation and expressed regret, telling host Hammer Nti that he asks for forgiveness from God on a daily basis for having affairs with women who wanted movie roles.
According to the comedian, he used his fame and influence to take advantage of aspiring actresses who desperately wanted to be featured in films.
He said that it was an act that he greatly regrets and that he would not repeat if given the opportunity to amend his errors.
He went on to say that the Ghanaian movie industry has failed to thrive because performers are not compensated fairly, citing the fact that he was paid between GHC10 and GHC50 for several of the parts he played, including his well-known performance in the movie “Ma triki wo”.
