DJ KA Denies Using Radio Position to Take Advantage of Ama Parone

Kessben FM presenter DJ KA, known in private life as Rexford Adu Ntim, has denied allegations that he used his position in the media to take advantage of fellow broadcaster and media personality Ama Parone.
In a statement attributed to the radio presenter, DJ KA said his relationship with Ama Parone was not based on exploiting his influence or professional position.
“I didn’t use radio to take advantage of Ama Parone; I was in a full-time relationship with her,” he was quoted as saying.
His comments come amid renewed public discussion surrounding the two media personalities following the circulation of an intimate video and the resurfacing of older videos featuring them together.
Ama Parone, whose name became widely mentioned during the controversy, has previously described DJ KA as an important figure in her life and broadcasting career. In a statement issued after the controversy, she referred to him as her mentor and godfather and credited him with supporting her career.
DJ KA, meanwhile, has acknowledged that an intimate video circulating online was recorded years ago and apologised to his family, employer, fans and the public over the situation. He said the footage dated back about four years.
Kessben Media subsequently suspended DJ KA from work and announced an internal investigation following the circulation of the video.
The controversy has generated significant debate on social media, with various claims and interpretations surrounding the relationship between the two personalities.
However, reports indicate that some of the claims circulating online have been unverified, prompting calls for restraint and responsible commentary as the matter continues to attract public attention.
