Stop blaming others for your failures and do the work – Naana Jane Agyemang Tells Akuffo Addo

Former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Professor Jane Naana Agyeman says the president of Ghana, Akuffo Addo should work and stop blaming others.

The criticism comes after the president has said that he intentionally decided not to develop the Ekumfi town because they voted for the NDC.

This is not the first time the president has said something of this sort. He equally told Voltarians that “Togbe, I want the people here, beginning with you, and the elders to understand that when something like this happens and government acts, the government is acting for Ghanaians, for all Ghanaians”.

“I came here because Ghanaians are having difficulties and are suffering, and it is my responsibility to try and help. Because if it were a question of counting who votes for me and who doesn’t vote for me, then I wouldn’t be here because you don’t vote for me. But that is not my concern. And in any event, one day you will vote for me and my party”, the president added.

She is therefore calling on the president to ‘walk the talk’ and stop blaming others for his failures. “Mr. President, please do something, say something different before you go”, she said.

I Intentionally Refused to Develop Ekumfi Because They Voted for NDC- Akuffo Addo

The president of Ghana, Nana Akuffo Addo has disclosed that he intentionally decided not to develop the Ekumfi town.

Speaking to the traditional chiefs, he revealed that he wanted to develop the Ekumfi town but later changed his mind.

According to him, the people of Ekumfi slapped sense into the minds of the NPP by choosing an NDC MP over an NPP MP.

This statement has generated a lot of comments online as many netizens have blasted the president for such utterance.
