The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako nicknamed Chairman Wontumi, has received a letter from the management of United Television expressing its regret for any offense caused by statements made against him.
The Management in the apology letter stated that it was not the intent of the station to bring the hard-earned reputation of Chairman Wontumi into disrepute in any way or form as they sincerely apologize over the incident that occurred on the 9th of July, 2022.
This letter, which is signed by Fadda Dickson, follows the harsh criticism UTV received after Afia Schwarzenegger made certain remarks while appearing as a guest on the United Showbiz program.
Unrepentant Afia Schwarzenegger dragged Chairman Wontumi and made numerous accusations against the NPP firebrand on live television, which sparked Ghanaians’ outrage and criticism of the host, Mcbrown.
