The ‘Abusua Kyiri Ka’ hitmaker who released his first album in 1992 said with his numerous years of experience, he’ll advise that anyone who depends on music alone might be disappointed.
“I’ll advise any young person who wants to do music to go ahead and do it but they shouldn’t rely solely on the music that they are doing,” he told Amansan Krakye .
“Apart from music I have other businesses so whenever someone comes to me that they want to do music, the first question I ask is, are you educated and what’s your level of education?
“Apart from that I ask them if they’ve learned a trade because the bottom line is that I always admonish them not to depend on music alone.
He continued “They can go ahead and pursue their music career but they should find a job or side hustle that they can rely on because with music alone they might end up disappointed”.
