“There’s No Love In The Gospel Fraternity” – Piesie Esther
Well-known gospel artist Piesie Esther stated that there isn’t much affection among members of the Ghanaian gospel music business in an interview with Accra 100.5 FM.
She voiced her thoughts and said that, in contrast to her first presumptions, employees of the company seldom ever show one another any affection.
She claimed that this behavior was characteristic of all business operations.
“At first, I thought the business was full of love, but now that I’m inside, I see there isn’t any love at all. However, I’ve found that each organization with a large number of employees operates in the same manner,” she said.
She related it to competitiveness and interpersonal conflict. Most entrepreneurs are also intense rivals in private, despite the fact that they may smile and joke about together.
Piesie Esther gave herself as an example, claiming that she was required to be entertaining in public with some people even though she had no affection for them.
Sometimes you just want to brush a fellow gospel worker off because you have no sympathy for them. But all you have to do is shake hands with that person and smile,” she said.
Although many gospel artists put forth a lot of effort, Piesie Esther confessed that there is little to no affection among them.
