Popular Ghanaian preacher Prophet Nicholas Osei, well known as Kumchacha, has sparked controversy with his remarks on marriage, arguing that it offers little to no benefits and it most often comes with challenges.
Speaking in a recent interview, Kumchacha asserted that even Jesus Christ chose to remain unmarried, suggesting that marriage could have jeopardized his path to heaven.
“If marriage were easy, Jesus Christ would have married himself. If he had taken a wife, he might have missed heaven—especially if he had married a difficult woman,” Kumchacha stated.
He further claimed that many successful men have suffered due to marrying “difficult women,” reinforcing his belief that marriage struggles outweigh its advantages.
