“Thanks to YouTube, I have employed people to work for me” — Kwadwo Sheldon

Ghanaian video blogger Kwadwo Sheldon claims that his decision to begin producing content for the video-sharing website YouTube was the key moment of his life that led him from unemployment to business ownership.

The 27-year-old acknowledged that YouTube has greatly improved his life in an interview with GTV.

“It has transformed my outlook on life, opened doors for me, and changed the course of my life. The fact that I am in a position where I have people working for me is a joy, and I will always be grateful to whoever created the internet for saving me,” he stated.

YouTube or digital media saved me from the claws of unemployment because I don’t know where I would have been if not for it and with what I have been able to do within this short period of time, it’s been crazy.

One of Ghana’s top YouTube video creators is Kwadwo Sheldon, who has over 370,000 subscribers to his channel.

His comedic and satirical videos typically focus on hot-button issues in Ghana and current events.
