The money in Cecilia Dapaah’s home belong to her late mum, late brother, and husband – Paul Adom Otchere claims

Host of Good Evening Ghana Paul Adom Otchere has given a chronological account of what he considers ‘fact’ verified by him.

According to Paul Adom Otchere, he had seen the charge sheets of person’s who own the money.

They include Cecilia Dapaah’s husband the architect, her late brother a business man and other family members, only $200,000 out of the millions of dollars, cedis and Euros found in Madam Cecilia Dapaah’s home belonged to her.

Paul explains how much each of the family members owned

“200,000 belonging to Cecilia Dapaah in a box was tampered with, 300,000 Euros in a bag belonging to Cecilia Dapaah’s husband, he says it is for me for my work also in a bag in a room was tampered with. Jewellery in a bag was also tampered with”

Paul said the controversial one was the $1 million dollars which he says belong to Cecilia Dapaah and her late brother.

“The big one $800,000 in a wooden box with a padlock on it, it’s for her brother who died unfortunately at age 60. Paul claimed nothing illegal has happened in Cecilia Dapaah’s home as each of the boxes stashed with huge cash were mentioned in the charge sheets and have been accounted for.

“Cecilia Dapaah’s husband has designed several buildings, does he not deserve to have 300,000 Euros? Those who know Cecilia Dapaah know she had two funerals close to each in a short period said.

Mr. Paul Adom Otchere, a regular defender of the NPP government, has launched yet his fiercest defence of a scandal that NPP officials, including ministers and members of parliament who have chosen silence over the matter.

The Chronicle newspaper reports that two house-helps are currently facing one count of conspiracy to commit a crime and five counts of stealing, involving amounts of US$1 million, €300,000, and millions of Ghana Cedis in the home of Former Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources.

Madam Dapaah and her husband reported the theft case to the police in June 2023.
