Sports Ministry budgeted $8.5 million for AFCON 2023 – Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa

Ghanaian football lovers and followers have been knocking on the doors of the Ghana Football Association to release the budget allocated to the national team in preparation for the Africa Cup of Nations, in which the team eventually performed badly.

Following all this saga, the member of parliament for North Tongu, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, revealed on social media, specifically X, that the government approved a budget of $8.5 million sent to them by the Ghana Football Association for the AFCON 2023.

In a well-crafted post on X, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa explained to the general public that it’s time Ghanaians find out how much was pumped into the team that the GFA and Sports Ministry are refusing to disclose to Ghanaians.
