Big Brother Naija, the most watched reality television program in Africa, will premiere its seventh season on Saturday, July 23, and Sunday, July 24, 2022.
The 24-hour show will be available on DStv channel 198 and GOtv channel 29. Both shows will begin airing at 6 o’clock on the Africa Magic Showcase, Africa Magic Urban, and Africa Magic Family channels.
Fans of BBNaija in Africa may also watch the show on the DStv app and through the African online streaming provider Showmax.
The largest financial reward for a reality program on the continent is still awarded by BBNaija. A total of 1.9 million Ghana Cedis (100 million Naira) will be awarded to the winner as the grand prize, which comprises 981,000 Ghana Cedis (50 million Naira) in cash and other interesting items.
For the seventh season, the show will witness a return of a few pre-COVID-19 elements, including the fan-favorite ‘Ninjas’ anda live studio audience.
Fans can also expect a line-up of more engaging tasks, unpredictable twists, and Big Brother’s wit. In addition, 30 fans of the show will also win 1 million Naira each in the Fave Lock-In promo exclusive to DStv and GOtv customers.
The show will also retain its voting style from last year. Voting will only be on the Big Brother Naija website, mobile site, and the MyDStv and MyGOtv apps for active customers. The number of votes each subscriber will be determined by their subscription packages, with DStv Premium and GOtv SUPA subscribers receiving the most votes.
Customers can also turn on parental controls for viewers under the age of 18 on their DStv and GOtv decoders.
