Ghanaian showbiz analyst named Arnold Asamoah Baidoo has stated that Sarkodie may sue Yvonne Nelson if he believes her book “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson” has defamed him.
Yvonne accuses Sarkodie of a lot of things in the book, including that the well-known rapper urged her to abort a child she was expecting for him.
According to Arnold, if these claims are true and harm Sarkodie’s reputation, they may be deemed defamatory.
Arnold, whose reviews are known to be fair, praised Yvonne for her bravery in revealing her life’s story in “I Am Not Yvonne Nelson.”
He acknowledged the value of actors and actresses writing because it gives them a platform to express themselves outside of the constraints of a role. Nelson’s ability to go within and expose her true self was lauded by Baidoo for her contemplative attitude.
If Sarkodie feels that his reputation has been damaged by these allegations, he can take legal action against Yvonne Nelson,” Baidoo said. “He can sue her for defamation.”
In order to avoid being sued for defamation, Arnold advised celebrities to be very careful when speaking negatively about one another.
