RAM Foundation Supports flood victims in Adidome and neighbouring communities.

Dr. Ken Kwaku, the Founder of Rebecca Agroh Memorial Foundation (RAM Foundation) which focuses on Girl Child and Women Economic Empowerment in the country donates some relief items to flood victims in Adidome and it’s neighbouring communities.

The items include cartons of tinned tomatoes, bars of soap, cartons of cooking oil, cartons of mosquito coils, clothes and blankets, bags of sachet water among others.

Mr. Hope Robertson Siawor and Mr. Abdul Ali who presented the items on behalf of the Founder of RAM Foundation stated that they were poised to bring support to the affected residents.

He indicated that the donations were part of their Corporate Social Responsibilities and they would endeavor to continue supporting the victims until the flood situations were resolved.

Mr. Siawor mentioned that other relief items would be given out in the upcoming days to ensure that every flood victim in Adidome and it’s surrounding gets support from the foundation.

Togbe Agu Asamoankwanta III, Sub Divisional Chief of Mafi Dove who received the items on behalf of Togbe Kwasinyi Kakaklolo Agyemang V, the Dufia of Adidome assured RAM Foundation that the items would be fairly distributed.

Togbe Asamoankwanta expressed gratitude to the foundation members and their leadership, urging them to provide more relief items to the flood victims.

“We also expect government to do more for our people. The situations are getting worse since our people don’t have enough food to eat at the safe havens”. He lamented.

Togbe also pledged to work closely with Dufia of Adidome to ensure that the flood victims, especially the ‘Persons With Disability’ (PWDs) were not left out during the sharing of the items that were donated by the RAM Foundation.
