OSP Denies Involvement in Alleged Ofori-Atta Raid, Calls It a Setup

Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has denied claims that it orchestrated a raid on former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta’s Cantonments residence.
According to reports, the alleged raid took place on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, while Ofori-Atta was in the United States receiving medical treatment. Witnesses suggest that the intruders were dressed in military uniforms.
Ofori-Atta, who left the country in early 2025, had informed the Chief of Staff of his travel for medical reasons.

At a press conference held on February 12, Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng clarified that the OSP had no involvement in the incident, emphasizing that the alleged raid was not conducted by his office.
