NPP Vice chair resigns from party

The Second Vice Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Abirem Constituency, Foster Oteng, has officially submitted his resignation from office.

His decision, based on personal reasons, was communicated through a formal letter dated January 29, 2024.

In the letter dated January 29, Mr Oteng expressed appreciation for the opportunities and knowledge gained during his tenure in office.

A part of the letter reads, “I am grateful for the opportunities and experiences I have gained during my time with the party at the constituency level.”

“I would like to thank all the constituency executives, electoral area coordinators, polling executives, and party faithful for the support and guidance provided to me during my tenure.”

He wished the constituency executives well in their future endeavours and requested that his resignation not be contested.
