NPP Made A Fool Out Of Us – Miracle Films

The CEO of Miracle Films, Mr. Samuel Akwasi Nyamekye, has voiced his frustration and disappointment with the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) over what he describes as unfulfilled promises to the Ghanaian movie industry.
In a meeting with the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank said the NPP government’s failure to support the Kumawood film industry despite their assurances.
According to Nyamekye, the establishment of a film village would provide immense benefits, including job creation, improved production quality, and a boost to the region’s cultural and tourism sectors.
However, he expressed disappointment that despite previous commitments from the NPP government, the industry was left neglected.
“Not only did they disappoint us, but they also disgraced us beyond reasonable understanding,” he stated, emphasizing the industry’s frustration over unfulfilled promises.
Nyamekye remains hopeful that a film village will eventually become a reality, calling on stakeholders to prioritize the growth of the Ghanaian film industry.
