“Nothing came from dating guys of my age” – Kafui Danku defends why she married 60yrs + old Oyibo

Again, Kafui Danku has silenced her detractors regarding her choice to marry her Canadian spouse despite their age difference.

Ghanaian actress Nana Akufo-Addo married Kojo Pitcher, a man approximately a third her age. Two children are the result of a 13-year relationship between the couple.

In the actress’s telling, many believe that she married her husband because of his money, but that is not the case at all. On the GTV Breakfast Show she confessed that she had dated older guys before without any success.

Following a question from Kafui Dey, the presenter of the program, on how her marriage had been so far, she spoke about her lovely family. Even if others assume it’s due of the man’s riches, she said it had been a “blessing.”

In an interview about her marriage to an older guy, the ‘4play Relaoded’ actress said that she has received a lot of criticism for marrying him.

Defending herself, she said, “I’ve been with guys my age and it wasn’t anything special.” Yet this mother of two claims that she is unaffected by such remarks from others because she has psychologically prepared herself for them.

In 2017, Kafui Danku and Kojo Pitcher became parents for the first time after three miscarriages. Their first child, a girl they’ve called “Baby Lorde.” Titan, the couple’s second child, was born in 2019.
