Lagos Police rescue nine children during forced initiation into cul.ti.sm
Nine Children were saved by the Lagos State Police Command from being pushed into cults in the Mushin region of the state.
On Thursday, August 10, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the command’s spokesman, revealed this in a tweet from his account.
The youngsters, he claimed, ranged in age from nine to fourteen and had incisions on their bottom lips.
“We need to strengthen the family unit! Nine children, the youngest, 9, and oldest, 14, were rescued during/after forced initiation into cul..ti..sm in the Mushin area of Lagos State. The investigation is ongoing.” he wrote
