Investor threatens to sue Black Sherif over breach of contract
Black Sherif may soon be dragged to court over claims of breach of contract.
This comes on the back of the recent misunderstanding between the Ghanaian artiste and an investor who has injected money into Sherif’s music business.
Speaking to Sammy Flex TV, Kweku Kristo, the personal assistant for Wayne Chavis Consult Black went behind the company which has signed him, to enter into a distribution deal with an American record label, Empire.
Kristo said the company has handed the matter over to their lawyers.
“At this point, we have our legal team looking into the matter. He wants them to take over the case,” he noted.
“We were approached by Black Sherif and his crew that they needed someone to invest in them and manage them. He asked them what they required, they listed them, and he made provisions for them. My boss signed a contract with them on 18th August 2021. The contract was for five years”, he said.
He said they signed a contract with Black Sherif to market his product.
“Empire brought a deal. My boss perused it but was not happy about the content. Later, we realized that Black Sherif had gone behind us to sign the contract, and that was the beginning of the brouhaha.”
