I’ll be a better president in 2025 – Mahama
Former Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama, a flagbearer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), claims he has gained experience on the job and, should he be elected, would be an excellent president.
He claims that because he got the chance to study under the greatest, he is on par with all of his rivals.
If accepted, he thinks it will be simple for him to work on the changes Ghana needs to make to turn around its situation because he is familiar with the system.
“I have from experience that there is no institution where you can attend, pay tuition, and declare your desire to learn how to become president. You had to learn on the job, and fortunately.
I’ve been out of office for eight years, now that I think about it. It allows me to reflect on the past and consider some of the things we could have done more effectively. Not every employee has the chance to leave the office and return at a later time.
I am confident that I will be a far better president in the next four years than I was the first time around. He cited two reasons for his decision: first, his prior experience as president; second, he added, reflecting on his time in office has helped him stay focused on the tasks at hand in order to fast turn around the country.
