I was super happy when Lynx signed Dope Nation – Kuami Eugene reacts

Musician Kuami Eugene has cleared the air on whether or not he had an issue with Dope Nation while they were with Lynx Entertainment.

He disclosed he was really excited when they got signed to the label and that he knew them from way back nursery.

This comes on the back of his reaction to Dope Nation’s exit from the label.

After Dope Nation exited Lynx Entertainment, Kuami Eugene’s opinion was sorted on the happening.

He stated that he is glad they left and that what will be shared among four boys will be shared among two; himself and Kidi.

Reacting to his comment, Dope Nation advised Kuami Eugene to learn to speak well as he sings. They also said Kuami asked them for a “feature” a day after it was publicly announced they were no longer with the label.

They added that they are shocked Kuami Eugene will say a thing as that.

Kuami Eugene was on Okay FM with Abeiku Santana to promote his upcoming album: Son Of Africa from which he released ‘Open Gate’.

He had the opportunity to explain his comment concerning Dope Nation.

“I was super happy when Lynx signed Dope Nation because I was going to Dope Nation’s house even before Lynx signed Dope Nation. They were asking me for features before they got signed,” he said.

“Besides we attended the same school; nursery school together,” he added.

Touching what inspired his new hairstyle, he noted that it was not borne out of peer pressure and that the label endorsed the idea to rock the locks so it has come to stay until otherwise.
