I now do MoMo to survive – Veteran gospel musicain Edward Akwasi Boateng reveals

Remember how award-winning Ghanaian gospel singer Edward Akwasi Boateng was seen selling pen drives at a Kumasi VIP station a few days ago?
The brilliant musician and songwriter appeared somewhat hopeless and penniless in the social media video.

Following the video’s viral success, Edward Akwasi Boateng was given the opportunity to confirm his situation in an exclusive interview with Akoma FM.

He acknowledged that he was in the viral video during the interview.

He sadly revealed that after his children came home from school demanding their fees, he was forced to go door-to-door to sell the pen drives.

He had to storm the market to sell pendrives in order to raise money for his children’s tuition because he is currently broke and doesn’t have an assistant.

The gospel maestro also revealed during the interview that he is currently an MTN MoMo merchant.
