Former Chief Executive Officer of the defunct UT Bank, Captain Prince Kofi Amoabeng has subtly revealed that aside from his professional troubles, he has issues with his immediate family.
In his words, he has no idea where one of his sons is because he never turned up to be what he has anticipated.
Speaking to the host of Prime Morning Show, Benjamine Akakpo on JoyNews, Kofi Amoabeng admitted he had no rapport with some of his kids, which he blamed on his busy schedules as he was much engrossed in building an empire and legacy for the same children he had little time for.
“So I had all the time or the attention to pay to the company that I was building. But all the same, my kids who were studying and other things, I didn’t have time for them as much as I would have liked. And some of them did not turn out the way I wanted them to turn out.
“One of my boys, I don’t even know where he is…He refuses to get in touch with me. I have an idea he’s probably in Chicago, but that’s a different story. I don’t know where he is. And it’s because he felt I wasn’t there for him”, he explained.
Kofi Amoabeng however took the blame for the rift between himself and his son. According to him, his constant neglect caused it.
