Good news: President Akufo-Addo has increased the National Service Allowance – Checkout new amount

The Deputy Executive Director of the National Service Scheme (NSS), Madam Gifty Oware Mensah, has revealed that President Akufo-administration Addo’s is working to enhance national service personnel’s stipend from $500 to $800.

Madam Gifty Oware Mensah told the media that the initiative had been brought to the parliament for consideration and approval.

She said if it gets approved, personnel will be paid ¢800 or more.

“Unfortunately, all we can tell is that it will cost more than GH800. The service has a vision to giving each person over 800 Cedis each month” she stated

The good news is that, as promised by Mrs Gifty Oware Mensah, graduates who would be serving in the national service beginning in 2023 can expect monthly allowances of over 800 Cedis ( Deputy Executive Director of National Service Scheme).

In the meantime, some employees attacked the NSS headquarters, demanding their unpaid allowances.
