Everything that I have comes from rap – Reggie Rockstone fires back at Shatta Wale

Reggie Rockstone has replied Shatta Wale for his comment that that former did not do much with rap.

In an interview on TV3 earlier today, Shatta Wale said it was wrong for Sarkodie to be releasing diss songs when the world is dealing with coronavirus pandemic that has wiped lots of lives, crippled the economy and restricted movements and lots of activities including music festivals and tours.

Although Shatta Wale was addressing Sarkodie, he ended up throwing stray bullets, some of which got to Reggie Rockstone who is also known as Grandpapa.

According to the ‘Borjor’ singer, Reggie did little with his rap skills.

Reacting to the comment, in a video on Instagram, Reggie said everything he has to his name is kind courtesy rap.

“Do you realize that one of the biggest artiste in your country and my country and our country is a rapper? Yeah, Sarkodie. He’s one of the biggest out here so that’s a huge impact. We didn’t go to BET singing. No damn Highlife, excuse me. It was through rap. We got on a cypher it was through rap. Won a Kora award through rap. All of the above”.

“In fact everything that I have comes from rap”.

He later posted another video
