Veteran hiplife artist Mzbel stated that spirituality is a way of life rather than just an activity in an interview with PropertyFM.
Mzbel says that soliciting the help of gods is equally as important as utilizing any other approach for spiritual protection.
“Although spirituality is a way of life, it also includes consulting Mallams, deities, and fetish priests for spiritual protection as a musician.
Mzbel said, “You have to look up into the skies and thank the sun when you wake up in the morning, and you have to pour water on the ground and thank the earth.”
She went on to explain that ideal Africans had to be spiritual and in tune with nature.
“As for spirituality, it is considered to be the way of Africans because they can communicate with the sun, moon, and earth and can sense what’s in the wind.”
