Court Throws Out Seyram Adablah’s Case Against her Sugar Daddy – Orders her to Pay Ghc 10k
The Accra High Court has dismissed Deborah Seyram Adablah’s lawsuit against Ernest Nimako, her sugar daddy.
The decision states that the court cannot be asked to ratify a deal that was made while an immoral act was being committed.
As a result of Deborah Adablah’s lawsuit against her sugar, First Atlantic’s former Chief Financial Officer (CFO) was fired.
Additionally, she was mandated to pay GHC 10,000 in costs.
“The foundation of the relationship was one that the Court should not be invited to give judicial stamps to…’You cannot recover the price of something you have committed into an immoral act,'” the judge ruled, according to Graphic Online.
Deborah filed a lawsuit against her former boyfriend, claiming he had broken promises he had made to her.
After divorcing his wife, Nimako promised to buy her a car, pay for her housing for three years, give her a GH¢3,000 monthly stipend, marry her, and give her a lump sum to launch a business.
The plaintiff asserted that even though Nimako was the original owner of the car, he later returned it, depriving her of its use in less than a year.
She also claimed that even though Nimako had promised to pay for three years, he had only paid for one year’s worth of lodging.
Adablah begged the court to give her ownership of the car and to make the defendant pay her the entire amount so she could launch a company and support herself.
