Dr. Hilliard Dogbe, Bishop of the Western West Africa Episcopal District.

In an interview, Rev. Felix Ernest Kwaku Dodor, Chairman of the Presiding Elders Council, explained that the conference aimed to empower women spiritually, socially, and morally to evangelize and win souls for Christ. He emphasized the church’s commitment to promoting justice and equity for all individuals.

“We believe that every individual deserves to be treated with dignity and respect,” Rev. Dodor said. “As a church, we are committed to promoting justice and equity in all aspects of life.”

As part of the conference, the Young Adult Missionary Society of the Women’s ministry donated assorted items, including food, toiletries, and cooking oil, to inmates at the Weija Leprosarium. Rev. Dodor noted that this gesture reflected the Christian mandate to show empathy and support for those in need.

“We are called to serve and care for one another, especially those who are marginalized and vulnerable,” Rev. Dodor said. “This donation is a testament to our commitment to serving others and spreading the love of Christ.”

He also urged Ghanaians to work hard and be self-sufficient, rather than relying solely on government support. “We must take responsibility for our own lives and communities,” Rev. Dodor said. “By working together and supporting one another, we can build a brighter future for ourselves and our nation.”
