Adidome township embarks on clean-up exercise to promote sanitation

A collaborative effort between gym operators and Mr. Guggisberg Fiagbenu, Assembly member of Adidome Central electoral area, has led to a planned clean-up exercise in parts of Adidome township.
The exercise, which took place on Fiagbenu Street and other parts of the community, focused on removing debris from culverts, gutters and disposing them at appropriate place.

According to Mr. Fiagbenu, the clean-up exercise is part of a broader initiative to promote sanitation and prevent possible diseases in the area.
He emphasized that the exercise would be extended to all parts of Adidome and called for support from individuals and groups.
Mr. Fiagbenu encouraged individual households and churches to participate in the clean-up exercise, scheduled to continue on the upcoming Saturday.
He also commended the youth of Adidome and Zoomlion Ghana Limited for their assistance with logistics, such as wheelbarrows, boots, and hand gloves.
He however appealed to the government and organizations for logistics support to ensure the success of the clean-up exercise in coming days.
The Assembly member urged residents who connect their septic tank pipes to the gutters to take responsibility for cleaning their surroundings.
