Ablakwa Reveals ORAL Team Received 2,417 Complaints

Samuel Okuzeto Ablakwa led Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) Committee, has publicly made known that it has received a total of 2,417 complaints from individuals and civil society organizations (CSOs).
Chairman of the committee, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, disclosed this on Monday, February 10, while presenting the team’s final report to President John Dramani Mahama.
This initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to tackle corruption and reclaim misappropriated public funds.
“We received a total of 1,493 calls through the toll-free line and 924 emails. Thankfully, all calls were automatically recorded, and the emails have been securely preserved for verification and validation.
In total, the complaints received amount to 2,417.”
He emphasized the necessity of the ORAL Committee, questioning what the petitioners would have done if the President had not established it.
“So, those who had any doubt about how relevant and timely the President’s intervention was at the time, this is your evidence. 2,417 complaints received. Where would all of these people have gone if President Mahama had not set up the ORAL preparatory team?”
