Ahmed Ibrahim, Naa Momo Lartey and Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare to be vetted today
The Appointments Committee of Parliament will convene today, January 21, 2025, to continue vetting ministerial nominees appointed by the President of Ghana.
This marks the third sitting of the committee, aimed at expediting the process to facilitate the formation of the President’s government.
To date, the committee has vetted six appointees. On today’s agenda, the committee will first vet Ahmed Ibrahim, Member of Parliament (MP) and Minister Designate for the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs. Following him, Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, MP and Minister Designate for the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, will undergo her vetting.
The final nominee for the day is Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, MP and Minister Designate for the Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry.
