Former minister of Sanitation and Water Resources has been granted bail by the office of the special prosecutor.
She was released after spending several hours with the officers of the special prosecutor in assisting with investigations into the millions stolen at her residence.
That included a visit to their home at Cantonment and then to Abelemkpe where the millions was stolen.
This is part of the standard procedure by the special prosecutor in investigating corruption and corruption related activities.
Beyond her husband, some other relatives of Madam Cecilia Dapaah were also questioned by the Office of the Special Prosecutor.
The office of the special prosecutor has also asked the Former Sanitation and Water Resources Minister to also fill out an income and property form
The income and property will take stock of what is legally owned by Madam Cecilia Dapaah, what she declared on her asset declaration forms will also be taken into account, if there are inconsistencies or false declaration which does not support their lifestyle, income or property or what is reported missin it could be grounds for fraud, she would be charged and a criminal prosecution will start.
