Ablakwa produces evidence to expose Ursla Owusu in the $48m contract without PPA approval
The member of Parliament for North Tongu Constituency has been on a crusade to root out corruption in the Nana Addo led government .
His revelations on the National cathedral has exposed rot in the ‘house of God’. His latest crusade is on a $48million dollar contract which the communications minister Ursla Owusu, deceitfully awarded to a Nigerian company without Public Procurement Authority’s (PPA) approval.
In response Madam Ursla Owusu produced a document which she claimed is the only document she had signed that involved the Government of Ghana, Huawei Technologies solutions and China National Technical Import and Export corporation. This is however at complete variance to what Mr. Okudzeto is alleging.
On 8th June 2023 Mr. Okudzeto Ablakwa wrote to the PPA requesting details of the $48m contract for the ‘Rural Technology Project For Design Build Rollout and managed services being executed by the ministry of communications and digitisation , the PPA responded to Mr. Ablakwa on the 20th of June. The response in part read ‘our records do not reflect any information on the above-mentioned project’.
To prove Ursla lied about the said $48m contract, Mr. Okudzeto Ablakwa returned with yet more document, to back his allegations. The document was signed by the acting administrator of Ghana Investment Fund For Electronic Communications (GIFEC) showing proof of existing contract between them and Ascend solution and not what Ursla Owusu Ekuful put on social media.
The document showed Ascend solutions executing the very Rural technology project… that the PPA said in the letter to Ablakwa that they had no knowledge of.
More to follow soon.
