Police stated that the neighborhood is no longer in danger.
Authorities claim that the six people, including four children and two adults, whose bodies were discovered at a Wisconsin apartment fire killed in a murder-suicide.
According to Hartland police, all six people were shot once. According to authorities, Connor McKisick, an adult, shot himself in the hand.
According to the authorities, Jessica McKisick was the other adult.
Police only gave the ages of the kids as being a 14-year-old girl, a 12-year-old girl, and two 3-year-old boys. Hartland Police Chief Torin Misko said that the twin boys were Connor and Jessica McKisick’s kids.
Crews responding to a fire at a four-family apartment complex in Hartland, Wisconsin—about 26 miles west of Milwaukee—found the six corpses early on Friday morning.
In a statement released on Monday, the police claimed that there was “evidence of an ignitable liquid in the residence where it would not typically be located.”
Police stated that they had not found any additional persons of interest and that “the community is no longer in risk.”
Although the precise times of the shootings are still unknown, the chief stated that they were likely to have occurred shortly after the fire was reported at 5:11 a.m. local time.
According to Misko, several firearms have been found in the flat.
According to officials, the three other families who resided in the apartment complex have been relocated.
